These terms govern your use of Rewind Desktop and rewind.app, provided by Infinite Memory. By creating an account, subscribing, or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Contact us at padmanabhan@infinitememory.io with questions.
Your account and use of Rewind
You must be able to enter a binding agreement and be at least 13 years old to use Rewind. If you use it for an organization, you must have authority to agree on that organization's behalf. Keep your account and devices secure, provide accurate information, and notify us of unauthorized access.
While you comply with these terms and any applicable subscription requirements, you may install and use Rewind for its intended purpose. You may not use it to break the law, infringe another person's rights, secretly monitor others without lawful authorization, distribute malicious code, bypass access controls, or disrupt the service.
Your recordings and privacy
You retain your rights in your recordings and other content. You are responsible for having the permissions, notices, and consents required to capture or process that content, including at work or when other people's information is visible. Rewind does not grant you rights to content belonging to others.
Rewind stores screen history locally by default. If you enable cloud storage or send content to support, you authorize the processing needed to perform that action. Our privacy policy explains account data, screen history, analytics, and your privacy choices.
Subscriptions and payments
Prices, billing intervals, and any trial terms are shown when you subscribe. Recurring subscriptions renew and are charged through Stripe until you cancel. You can cancel through the billing portal available from your account dashboard. Unless your purchase terms say otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
Contact us about billing errors or refund requests. Any mandatory refund or cancellation rights under applicable law remain available to you. If a recurring price changes, we will provide notice before it applies so you can decide whether to continue.
Optional cloud storage and other providers
Optional archiving uses your own AWS account and S3 storage. AWS charges are separate from your Rewind subscription. You are responsible for your cloud account, permissions, storage costs, and recovery keys. Google sign-in, Stripe, AWS, and other third-party services have their own terms and availability.
Keep independent backups of information you cannot afford to lose. Recording can be interrupted, extracted text can contain errors, and some content may not be captured. Cloud archiving does not guarantee that every recent recording has been uploaded. Lost keys, deleted cloud objects, device failure, or unavailable third-party services may prevent recovery.
Availability and responsibility
We work to provide a useful and reliable service, but do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free search, or capture of every screen. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available, without additional warranties. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties, remedies, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We may change features or suspend access where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, nonpayment, or violations of these terms. Where practical, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve a problem. You can stop using the service at any time and contact us to request account deletion. Deleting an account or uninstalling the app does not automatically cancel charges from separate third-party services.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service changes. We will publish the updated terms with an effective date and provide additional notice of material changes as appropriate. If you do not agree with a change, you may stop using the service and cancel your subscription. Changes will not remove rights you already have under applicable law.
